"This summer I am building a large deck which has 17 footings. Seven of these were placed directly upon limestone bedrock. I used a scribing tool that I designed and built myself (see photo far right), which worked like a charm to rapidly and acurately scribe the bottom the building tube to the bedrock.

"The remaining 10 building tubes used your 24" diameter "Bigfoot" system on the bottom. I found them very easy to use, once the hole was dug and leveled. Pictured in the second and third photos are the deepest of my footings, at about 7' 0." This excessive depth was due to a sloping lot and previous backfilling.
